State Police Troop M Fogelsville responded for a vehicle crash shortly after midnight May 24 at 5380 Wessnersville Road, Lynn Township.
Police say Brett Miller of Kempton allegedly fled the scene of the crash and was later found at his home.
Miller was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, police say.
He was taken into custody and charges were filed.
State Police M Fogelsville say Richard E. Walterick, 58, of Allentown, was driving a 2001 Freightliner dump truck west on Claussville Road in the area of Masters Hill Road, Weisenberg Township, at 11:17 a.m. June 8 when the right tires on the truck left the right side of the road and it rolled onto its driver side.
According to police, Walterick was negotiating a left turn when the tires left the roadway.
Police say Walterick attempted to correct the error but over corrected.
The dump truck then crossed in the east bound lane, at which point it rolled onto its driver side, before sliding approximately 50 feet, before coming to a final rest partially in the west bound lane and off the roadway facing north.
Walterick, who was wearing his seat belt, sustained a suspected minor injury, police say.
He was transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Walterick was cited for a traffic violation.
The dump truck sustained disabling damage and was removed by Stews Towing.
Weisenberg Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
