There will be an amateur radio emergency preparedness drill by the Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club, which will operate a 24-hour radio based communication drill with other stations in the United States and Canada 2 p.m. June 24-25 from East Allen Township’s Bicentennial Park (Pavilion C)

The American Radio Relay League, national organization for amateur radio, sponsors the drill annually.

More than 35,000 amateur radio operators will participate.

Field Day, a chance to see amateur radio operation, is open to the public for free.
