“What the American flag means to me”

What does the American flag mean to me?
Oh, say do you see, the flag over there? A
symbol of the justice and liberty we
share. The hardships we’ve faced, the
battles we’ve won, the advances we’ve
made, together as one. Blood, sweat and
tears, shed by women and men. The
feeling of pride, bravery, and stress now
and then. I pledge allegiance to the flag,
of bright red, white, and blue. One
nation under God, or whoever you
choose.

What does the American flag mean to me?
Our flag waves bravely through the night
Our troops are proud, what a sight
Our country’s DIVERSITY
Is what makes us great
That is a wonderful USA trait
Slavery is over, so they say
But somehow things don’t seem okay
Our troops see no color
On the battlefields in war
My wish for our flag is racism no more!
Our ancestors came here for the American dream.
We must always remember we are on the same team.
RED, WHITE, AND BLUE
I will always stay true.
This country was made for me and you.
