Liberty

There will be an athletic shoe drive until June 30 to raise funds to support the Liberty HS cross country and track and field program. The program’s booster club will earn Sneakers4Funds dollars based on the total weight of the shoes collected.

Gently worn, used or new athletic shoes may be dropped off at Aardvark Sports Shop, 559 Main St. No cleats or spiked shoes are accepted. All sneakers in any size are accepted including walking, tennis, vans, converse, skechers, running, basketball, etc.

There will be an alumni vocalist cafe at 7 p.m. June 30 at Godfrey Daniels, 7 E. Fourth St.

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Fun with Science Camp for Kids for children entering fifth through eighth grades will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon daily July 10 through 14.

The workshop, taught by the Charter Arts Science Department, includes physics, environmental science, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, and biology.
