STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q. In what grade are you?

A. I have finalized my senior year at Emmaus High School.

Q. What was your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject was physics. This year I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Brent Ohl as a teacher. He was able to make the material exciting and fun to learn, something I am very grateful for. I also thoroughly enjoy math. My physics course allowed me to apply the mathematical techniques I’ve learned throughout high school to real life scenarios.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I was on the Principal’s Honor Roll, Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and received a varsity letter in baseball.

Q. Were you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A. I played baseball for the high school.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. I want to graduate college and begin a career.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. Graduating high school.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered as a hard working individual that refuses to give up in the face of adversity.

Q. Who is in your family?

A. My father Gary, mother Tricia, stepfather Scott, sister Shawna, dog Cameo and cat Olaf.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. Although very cliché, the individuals I admire the most are my parents. They have been supportive and helpful in every aspect of my life, whether it be baseball or academics.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Hard work never goes unnoticed.
