New Tripoli Fire Company is having a Father’s Day chicken barbecue 11 a.m. June 18. Eat-in or take out.

The meal includes half a chicken, baked potato or filling, pickled cabbage, dinner roll and beverage.

There will also be a bake sale with a variety of sweets from which to choose.

Give dad a break, mow the lawn and buy him dinner.

Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, will host Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School 6-8:30 p.m. June 25-29.

VBS is open to children age 3 to those currently in fifth grade. VBS is free to attend.

Lynnport Fire Company, Behler Street, Lynnport, will host its annual 4th of July Jamboree 4-10 p.m. June 24.

There will be live music by Still Kick’n, a raffle, food, and fun for the whole family. And of course fireworks.
