Congratulations to the Emmaus High School Class of 2017!

Congratulations also to everyone who participated in the 2017 Freddy Awards!

Summer circulation (the ability to check books out and keep them all summer) has begun. Books will not need to be returned to the EHS library until Sept. 8.

Attention students who are planning to take Advanced Placement Biology for the 2017-2018 school year: A required summer assignment for AP Biology is now available online through Mrs. Svencer’s website along with access to the online textbook. You may also obtain a hard copy in room 422 of both the assignment and the text.

Any student who needs to check any information on summer assignments can do so at http://www.eastpennsd.org/ehs/academics/program-of-studies/summer-reading-assignments/.

Students have received a list of their scheduled courses for the 2017-2018 school year. Courses are listed by course number and not by the instructional period. Requests to add or change courses must be submitted in writing to the counseling office by June 20 with a parent/guardian signature. Changes will be considered based on course seat availability. Requests for changes will not be accommodated after the June 20 deadline. Students will be able to view their final schedules, with instructional periods, on Home Access Center in mid-August.

Freshman orientation for the Class of 2021 will be held Aug. 16. Students with last names A through L report 8 a.m. Students with last names M through Z report 10:30 a.m. Guided freshman walk-throughs with Hornet Ambassadors will be conducted on the following scheduled: noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 17; 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 18; 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 24.
