Brandon John Gushue, 25, of Lower Macungie Township, was charged with alleged aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck a state trooper in the mouth and face area at a residence in the 4000 block of Mountain Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:30 a.m. May 3. State troopers responded to the residence for a check on the welfare of a resident, according to police. Gushue allegedly became agitated and swung a closed fist, striking the trooper. The trooper sustained minor injuries. Charges were filed, accounting to court documents.

A female resident, 66, of the 1200 block of Eagle Street, Lower Macungie Township, reported unknown actors used a pellet gun to shoot at the rear kitchen window of the residence May 6.

A female resident, 65, of the 7300 block of Leh Street, Lower Milford Township, reported May 10 her personal information was utilized to open several credit card accounts.
