Matthew A. Neetz, 37, of Emmaus, was charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after police received two calls reporting Neetz allegedly was acting strangely while walking in the neighborhood of the unit block of South Third Street. Neetz was arrested May 17, according to police. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

James Barkley, 28, of Emmaus, was arrested May 20 for alleged simple assault and harassment in the 300 block of South 12th Street after a domestic dispute. Barkley was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center and processed, according to police. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Christopher Lee Kerr, 33, of Emmaus, was arrested May 27 for alleged simple assault and harassment after a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Beechwood Street. Kerr was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center and processed, according to police. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Jeffrey Valera, 30, of Emmaus, was arrested May 13 and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence and speeding at the intersection of South Fourth and Chestnut streets. He was transported to Lehigh County DUI Center and processed. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Constance Lee David, 50, of Emmaus, was arrested May 22 for alleged disorderly conduct in the unit block of Harrison Street after allegedly causing a disturbance in the roadway of the 100 block of Harrison Street. A citation was filed, according to court documents.

An unknown actor entered a garage in the 400 block of North Fifth Street and removed three bicycles with a total value of $950. The bicycles were found abandoned May 25 in the 500 block of Liberty Street and have since been returned.

A Yamaha dirt bike, valued at $2,200, was removed from a garage in the 500 block of Chestnut Street. The burglary was reported May 24.

A Trek bicycle, pedals and a flashlight, with a total value of $125, were removed from an unlocked garage in the 500 block of Harrison Street. The burglary was reported May 24.

A Garmin GPS unit valued at $180 was removed from a vehicle in the 100 block of East Elm Street May 23.

An unknown actor removed four rims from a Honda Accord in the 300 block of Powdermill Lane. The theft was reported May 29.

An unknown actor climbed on the hood of a BMW vehicle and stomped on and smashed the windshield while the vehicle was in the 600 block of Broad Street. The incident was reported May 15.

An unknown vehicle struck the bumper and driver’s side of a Hyundai Elantra in the unit block of South Seventh Street. The incident was reported May 29.

An unknown vehicle struck the driver’s side of a Nissan Maxima in the 200 block of Adrian Street causing damage to the vehicle. The incident was reported May 25.
