MACARTHUR ROAD 75th
The MacArthur Road 75th anniversary committee has announced the summer lineup of events.
Allentown Marine Band will perform 7:30 p.m. June 10 at Whitehall Parkway. A fireworks display is planned as well.
There is no cost to attend.
The movie “Up” will be shown 8:30 p.m. July 15 at Peter Grim Homestead, Mickley and Lehnert roads.
“Mars Attacks the World” will be shown 8:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at Steckel Elementary School. The original space ship from the movie will be on display.
Those planning to attend the concert, fireworks display or movies are encouraged to bring chairs or a blanket.
The events will feature hands-on workshops, provided by The Home Depot, for children ages 5-12.
Hot dogs, soda, cotton candy and popcorn will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the food sales will benefit Whitehall Township Fire Department and MacArthur Road 75th anniversary celebration.
