LCCC:

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) offers “Pump up Your Brain!” summer classes for students in grades 6 through 10 in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) taught by LCCC instructors at the main campus, Schnecksville, North Whitehall Township.

“Everyday Biotechnology” explores scientific concepts that can be applied in the home and garden: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday - Friday for grades 9-10 (rising), with additional materials fee as applicable: “Chemistry in the Kitchen,” July 10-14, and “Playing in the Dirt,” July 17-21.

“Computer Science Principles: Code! Play! Game!” uses a program designed by MIT, June 26-30: grades 6-8 (rising), 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.; grades 9-10 (rising), 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.

“The Women in Science: 19th Century - Present,” grades 6-8 (rising), 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., July 10-20.
