State Police Troop L Hamburg say the driver of a vehicle believed to be a Saturn failed to observe a posted stop sign before striking a parked 1996 Nissan Pathfinder 6:12 a.m. May 26 on Route 737 at Kistler Valley Road, Albany Township.
According to police, the Saturn traveled through the stop sign, striking a stone wall and mailbox before hitting the Nissan.
The driver then fled in an unknown direction.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Adrian Santana, 33, of Tamaqua, the operator of a vehicle that allegedly failed to stop for a sobriety checkpoint, was taken into custody sometime between 11 p.m. May 26 and 4 a.m. the next day in Lowhill Township.
According to police, after Santana allegedly failed to stop for the checkpoint he fled from pursuing officers.
He was subsequently charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, recklessly endangering another person and related summary traffic offenses.
He was arraigned before District Judge Patricia Engler, Allentown.
Police say during the checkpoint 108 motorists were stopped, one driving under the influence and two underage drinking arrests were made and 10 traffic citations were issued, along with Santana being charged.
