Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, is launching the summer season June 10 with a Backyard BBQ Bash.
Chicken and pork dinners will be available from Lorah’s, starting at 3:30 p.m. Meals include french fries, coleslaw and beverage.
Scott Marshall and Marshall’s Highway, winner of 12 Lehigh Valley Music awards, will entertain 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Come, enjoy the music and fellowship free of charge. Food tickets may be purchased that day or in advance.

The congregation will say goodbye to Interim Pastor Allen Kramer-Moyer, at the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services June 4. He has assisted at Union UCC for 2-1/2 years.
He will preach, offer Holy Communion and greet people during the coffee hour.
Kramer-Moyer was called out of retirement to provide help to Union UCC after the departure of the Rev. Thomas N. Thomas.
While expressing admiration for the enthusiasm and friendship of Union UCC members and staff, Kramer-Moyer says he is ready to return back to retirement.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, invites children of the community to “Maker Fun Factory,” this year’s Vacation Bible School program.
VBS will be offered from 9 a.m.-noon on June 19-23.
Classes will be offered for children from age 4 to those entering sixth grade.
Children age 3 may attend if a parent remains with them.
Preregistration is preferred but not required. There is no fee.
The fun-filled week will be coordinated by Wendy Ayers-Meyers and Beth Sloan.
On June 23, participants and parents are welcome to a picnic lunch after the last class section.
Children will share some of their VBS joys with the congregation at the 9 a.m. worship service June 25.
