Lehigh Gap Nature Center, 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington, is looking for volunteers to staff booths at various events and festivals.

At the booths, volunteers will talk to people about the Nature Center and its activities.

Sometimes, they may sell raffle tickets.

The Nature Center has received the following requests for booths:

·Pets and Nature Festival, 10-3 p.m. July 8 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 540 Center St., Bethlehem.

This is designed to offer a safe place and family friendly environment for families, those with special needs children and adults to enjoy a safe environment along with the public.

This event can be broken up into two shifts from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 12:30-3 p.m. Two volunteers are needed on each shift.

This is one of the Nature Center’s annual fundraisers to help support the ongoing efforts of Lehigh Valley Business Group as a nonprofit as well as supporting other nonprofits.

·Lehigh Valley Greenways Festival July 22.

·Walnutport Canal Festival, a family-safe festival, good food, entertainment, arts and crafts from noon-6 p.m. Oct. 15.

They usually do three hour shifts noon-3 p.m. and 3-6 p.m.
