Aaron and Joan (Krause) Miller of Laurys Station, North Whitehall Township, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 15.

The couple was married April 15, 1967, in St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station, by the Rev. Harry Kissinger.

Both their wedding day and anniversary were on Saturdays.

Joan is the daughter of the late Ray and Peg Krause.

Her husband is the son of the late Evelyn and Frank Miller.

They are the parents of a daughter, Ellen Boyer, who resides in Danielsville, Lehigh Township, with her partner Craig Miller, and a son, Brian Miller, who resides in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Township, with his partner Diane Gaumer-Strock and her daughter, Alana Strock.

The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary at a dinner with family and friends at Morgan’s Restaurant, Orefield.
