Salisbury baseball head coach Pochron gets 250th win

The Salisbury baseball team ended its season with a 4-1 loss to Allen Monday.

The Falcons finish the season 8-12 overall and7-11 in Colonial League play.

Monday, May 15

Salisbury-Allen

The Falcons took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but two runs in the third and fifth put Allen in front. The Canaries scored their runs on just three hits and a pair of Salisbury errors.

Colin Wagner had a pair of hits for Salisbury, while Lucas Irwin knocked in his team’s only run. Pitchers Irwin (four innings) and Cole Warmkessel (two innings) combined to hold Allen to three hits.

Salisbury-Dieruff

The Falcons beat the Huskies 7-1.

The win was the 250th career win for Salisbury head coach Mike Pochron.

No other information about the game was received by the Press.

Southern Lehigh-

Salisbury

The Spartans beat Salisbury 7-5.

Errors plagued the Falcons much of the season and their final Colonial League game was no different as they made four miscues in a loss to rival Southern Lehigh.

Ryan Miller went 2-for-4 for Salisbury in the game.
