The Woman’s Club of Whitehall has announced the Girl of the Month for March. Laura Do, daughter of Ms. Thuy Nguyen of Whitehall, has achieved high honor roll for all marking periods.

She is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society (president), English National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Student Council, Model UN (president), Book Club, Debate Club, Anime Club (vice president), Art Club (vice president), Human Rights Club, Leo Club (president) and Spanish Club.

She also is the Class of 2017 secretary, a new student tour guide and blood drive chairwoman. Do has received the Best Resolution Award for the East PA Model UN Conference in 2016, was a state finalist for Distinguished Young Women of PA in 2017 (Lehigh County representative) and is a PA Maguire Scholar.

Additionally, she is part of the Leo Club District 14-K (co-president), is a Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival volunteer, a certified interpreter of Vietnamese, a former ESOL student, a track and field team member and a Macy’s sales associate.

Do plans to attend University of the Sciences or Lebanon Valley College to become a doctor of physical therapy.
