Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will celebrate Mother’s Day on May 13 and 14.

Mothers will pay half-price admission.

The zoo will be offering hands-on interactive experiences and cute crafts for kids to make for their moms.

There will also be daily keeper talks and up-close visits with some of the animals during the Wonders of Wildlife Encounters.

Endangered Species Day at the zoo will be May 20.

There will be a variety of crafts, games, interactive experiences, music and special stations provided by Lehigh County to bring awareness for Community Foster Care Outreach.

Don’t miss the hands on interactive experiences and turtle themed activities May 21 for World Turtle Day.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is having a used clothing drive until June 4.

Clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children for all seasons are needed.

In addition, household items made of fabric and in good condition as well as soft, hard toys and children’s activity sets will be accepted.

Hard toys should fit a box 24 inches by 24 inches by 21 inches.

No books, VCR tapes, CDS, kitchen appliances or furniture will be accepted.

The church is accepting orders until May 14 for its hoagie sale.

Pickup will be 4-6 p.m. May 23.

Choose between regular with everything or no onions or peppers; or ham and cheese, turkey, roast beef, tuna or veggie.
