Salisbury Township

Commissioner (4th Ward)

4-year term

Republican Rodney C. Conn is running unopposed

Commisioner (2nd Ward)

Democrat Chad Gleissl faces Incumbent Democrat James Seagreaves in the primary election. We asked both candidates to answer the following question: Why should residents vote for you?

Chad Gleissl

“We need to strengthen relationships between commissioners and the community. It’s time we have a commissioner that engages with the community. My experience and business background will help balance the budget, avoid tax hikes and cut unnecessary spending. It’s time for new ideas, as I go door-to-door the message is clear many residents just want to be heard. As a commissioner, I promise to be active throughout the community and make it easier for my community to get in touch with me. Together we will build a better Salisbury.”

James Seagreaves

“I have been fortunate to be Salisbury Ward 2 Commissioner for eight plus years. During this time, I worked diligently with the other commissioners on quality of life issues that ranged from playground concerns to noise related topics in our neighborhoods. I have lived in the township since 1999 and have been actively involved serving the community, whether it be from coaching SYA baseball and basketball for over 10 years to being a volunteer firefighter for over 15 years. I take great pride in being available to the residents by phone or in person. Over my next term, I will continue to work toward providing Salisbury with quality parks and a place you will be proud to call home.”
