Kyle B. Miller faces incumbent Michael J. Pochron in the primary election. Both are listed on the Democratic and Republican tickets. We asked both candidates to answer the following question: Why should residents vote for you?
Kyle B. Miller
“As elected State Constable, township voters have afforded me the privilege to serve for more than 12 years. I have a proven track record of service to our community having processed in excess of 20,000 criminal, traffic, non-traffic and civil cases within the judicial system. This experience has provided a unique prospective in my decision to run for District Judge. Our elected officials are elected to serve the best interest of “we the people” and must be held accountable to the taxpayers. As your elected State Constable, I have lived by this principle. When elected District Judge, I pledge to uphold the highest level of community values and ethical standards.”
Michael J. Pochron
“The citizens of Salisbury Township and Allentown 16th Ward should vote for me because I am the only proven, certified and qualified candidate. I’ve served the last six years as your District Judge, 29 years as a Salisbury Township Police Officer and 37 years as a baseball coach for the Salisbury School District. I’m the only candidate that has the state certification for Magisterial District Judge, a required certification to hold the office and a challenging exam to pass. You have a candidate with a proven track record and someone certified to hold the office.”
