Rep. Justin Simmons, R-131st and Sen. Pat Browne, R-16th, will co-host a paper shredding event 10 a.m. to noon May 20.

The free service will be available in the Lion’s Plaza visitors parking lot, Penn State Lehigh Valley, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley.

This event is for residents only, who can bring documents containing sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, medical data or bank account numbers, to be shredded at no cost. The limit is four bags or boxes of paperwork per vehicle. The service is provided by Richter Mobile Shredding of Souderton.

The two legislators are partnering with Upper Saucon Township and Penn State Lehigh Valley to sponsor the event.
