Harry C. and Arlene (Foust) Schell of Macungie celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 3.
The couple grew up and met in Milton, Northumberland County, but were married May 3, 1957, in Newport, R.I., after Harry graduated from The Pennsylvania State University.
They lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Cape May, N.J., where Harry served as an officer in the Navy.
They then lived in New City, N.Y., for 33 years and, shortly after retirement, moved back to Pennsylvania and settled in Macungie, where their daughters and families all lived.
Harry and Arlene have three daughters: Deb Hartman of Macungie, Cindy Hastings of Allentown and Carolyn Croy of Emmaus, along with their sons-in-law, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
They attend The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, and enjoy much activity with their close family and friends.
They also spend time in their home in Naples, Fla., where their family loves to visit them.
They will gather together for a family celebration of their 60 years of marriage at Woodloch Resort, Lackawaxen Township, Pike County.
