Paul Fisher announces bid for Lowhill supervisor seat

Paul C. Fisher Jr., a Republican, has announced he is running for election to the Lowhill Township Board of Supervisors.

A lifelong resident of Northwestern Lehigh School District and a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, Fisher has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University, and is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course.

Fisher says that over the years, he has attended numerous leadership conferences and professional development seminars in public service.

He retired from PrintConcepts in 2013 as vice president of operations after 24 years of service.

During his career, he was actively involved in developing online technology-based solutions for regional and national clients.

Fisher previously served on the Northwestern Lehigh School Board for seven years, having served as president, vice president, and secretary.

For the past three years, he has served on the board of trustees for Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Fisher previously served on the Northwestern Lehigh Educational Foundation, the Northwestern Lehigh Alumni Association and the Weisenberg Township Planning Commission.

In his free time, he enjoys bike riding with several area cycling organizations. He is a certified League Cycling Instructor by the League of American Bicyclists.

Fisher and his wife, Michele, have two daughters.

“I believe a greater focus on fiscal management, governmental transparency and public communication is necessary,” Fisher said. “As an elected supervisor, I will work diligently to address these critical issues, while ensuring the township’s limited tax resources are preserved and maintained.

“I have a successful and proven record in public service, which illustrates my commitment and dedication to overcoming these challenges. I ask for your vote on May 16.”
