To the Editor:

The municipal primary is approaching on May 16, in which we will select a new commissioner. If you want the best for the future of Lehigh County, there is only one choice: Amy Zanelli.

Zanelli believes in protecting Lehigh County’s most valuable asset: its people. She has a proven track record of community advocacy and engagement that she will bring to the commissioner position for Lehigh County residents from toddler to elder.

She has served both professionally as an in-home counselor for at-risk families as well as personally as a volunteer with underprivileged youth at various organizations.

Additionally, Zanelli has also volunteered with senior citizens organizations throughout Lehigh County.

As a county commissioner, she will work to maintain and improve the services offered by Lehigh County, while keeping an eye on fiscal spending. Zanelli’s unique background and career experience have given her the necessary knowledge and skills to seek funding and programs to keep Lehigh County’s residents physically and financially healthy without bankrupting the county purse.

Zanelli appreciates the obligation Lehigh County has to protect the well-being of all residents, and as our commissioner, she will make that obligation a reality.
