PA. state constable announces run for magisterial district judge

Pennsylvania State Constable Kyle B. Miller has announced his candidacy for magisterial district judge of Salisbury Township and City of Allentown 16th Ward.

Appointed state constable at age 18 by the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas, Miller became one of the youngest serving state constables in Pennsylvania history. He is certified to work in the minor judiciary under Pennsylvania ACT 49 which is sanctioned by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. Since fulfilling the 5-year appointed term, he has been re-elected by the Salisbury Township community to serve two additional 6-year terms. As state constable, Miller has processed over 20,000 cases within the judicial system.

Miller, a lifelong resident of Salisbury Township and graduate of Salisbury High School, also attended Lehigh Carbon Community College for criminal justice administration.

Miller believes it is imperative for a judge to avoid impropriety and consistently maintain the highest level of ethical standards. As a non-partisan judicial position, he has cross-filed to run on both Democratic and Republican tickets in the May 16 primary election.
