Upper Milford Historical Society meeting, 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township Building, Old Zionsville. The Friends of the Emmaus Public Library will hold its 19th annual used book sale 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Lower Macungie Middle School, 6229 Lower Macungie Road.

The annual Trucks & More event will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Allentown Fairgrounds, 302 N. 17th St., Allentown. Families with children of all ages love this hands-on opportunity to explore heavy machinery and to meet the people who build, protect and serve the Lehigh Valley community. A variety of vehicles such as construction equipment, large trucks and emergency response vehicles will be available to explore. Free bicycle helmet and fitting given to all ages who participate, while supplies last. Tickets are available online at www.jllvpa.org or at the gate. The event will be held rain or shine and is sponsored by the Junior League of the Lehigh Valley. Bring hearing protection if your child is sensitive to noise.

Concordia Lutheran Church, 2623 Brookside Road, Macungie, ribbon cutting and open house 1 p.m. Special guests include the Emmaus High School Choir. Food and tours will be provided. All are welcome. Celebration services with communion will be held 8 and 10:45 a.m. April 30 with special guest preacher Rev. David Theile. A special lunch celebration will be held noon. Community Day at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center 4 to 8 p.m. Discover all that Lower Macungie Township has to offer with fun activities for all ages. Bring a camera to take pictures with a Minion.

The Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild will meet 7 p.m. at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus. The program will be presented by quilter and teacher Erin Underwood. Kearney, founder and president of Senior Moves By Design, a service provider for seniors and their families who are looking for senior move management, clean out and staging or home modifications for aging-in-place. Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network will offer a free stroke screening event 9 a.m. to noon at the Health and Technology Center, 850 S. 5th St., Allentown. The public is welcome to attend. Screening stations are available to assess fall risk, glucose and cholesterol, blood pressure, height and weight values, as well as health and wellness education with personalized stroke risk assessments.
