Chad Michael Pahula, 35, of Macungie, was charged with alleged drug possession and related charges under the Controlled Substances, Drugs, Device and Cosmetic Act after a trooper responded to Wawa, 3321 Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 1:59 a.m. April 9. A trooper responded to the location to check on a man slumped over the wheel of his car in the parking lot. After speaking with the male and passengers in the vehicle, who had conflicting stories of why they were there, a K-9 unit was requested and alerted law enforcement to the presence of alleged narcotics in the passenger’s side of the vehicle. A probable cause search allegedly revealed an open safe containing multiple narcotics and paraphernalia. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

A 20-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Willow Lane at Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 11:43 p.m. March 26. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

James Gerare Vella, 32, of Allentown, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Hamilton Boulevard at Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:02 a.m. March 26. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Anthony Eleteris Sferedes, 47, of Hereford, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence and alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop on Chestnut Street at Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 2:09 a.m. April 6. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Christopher Joseph Sheeran, 27, of Allentown, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Minesite Road at East Texas Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:13 a.m. March 25. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Khalil Cohen, 27, of Reading, was charged with allegedly being under the influence of marijuana and in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia after a traffic stop on State Route 222 at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:56 p.m. March 23. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

David Garnet Clarke Jr., 22, of Macungie, was taken into custody at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:33 a.m. April 12 after an investigation. The investigation revealed Clarke allegedly had a warrant out of a local police department in New Jersey.

Reported by an 80-year-old resident, of the 5200 block of Fox Meadow Drive, Upper Milford Township, an unknown actor opened a credit card account using the resident’s identity March 4.

Reported by a resident of the 7500 block Catalpa Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors fraudulently filed a tax return using the resident’s identity Feb. 8.
