Independent Bookstore Day marks its third year of celebrating independent bookstores nationwide April 29, with literary parties around the country.

Let’s Play Books Bookstore will celebrate with many events, special guests and give-a-ways.

Special guests David Lubar (Looniverse Series, Weenies Series, Character Driven, +++) and Kate Racculia (This Must Be the Place & Bellweather Rhapsody) will be at the store noon to 1 p.m. Sugar So Sweet Bakery cart will be on site (in the backyard) 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All day children’s activities both inside and out, including a make-your-own Little Golden book are all free.
