EASTER SEALS

Easter Seals Eastern Pennsylvania will host the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community beginning 7:45 a.m. June 3 at DeSales University.

The 5K Walk begins 9 a.m.; the One-Mile Fun Walk starts 9:15 a.m.; both are fully accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. Registration is mandatory.

The event funds programs and services for community youngsters such as outpatient therapy, child development screenings, recreation programs, early intervention services and more. Highmark underwrites the cost of the event and 100 percent of the money raised goes directly to Easter Seals Eastern Pennsylvania.
