Cottontail Chorus hops back into Lowhill for all to enjoy

An Easter treat for all ages to enjoy returned this year to the roadside along Route 100, Lowhill Township.

An original whipped up by Phil Rossetto and Greg Snider, the Cottontail Chorus is fashioned after an original Easter greeting artwork Rossetto created for Recycled Paper Products Inc. more than 20 years ago, but the design is timeless and charming.

The cottontails are illuminated with blinking lights for the nocturnal travelers on Route 100 near the Lowhill Township Building.

During an earlier appearance within Rossetto and Snider’s almost decade long enrichment to eight annual holidays and seasons, the original tails were made of a “green” packing material manufactured in vegetable material, which sadly melted away in the rain.

Bunnies without tails are unhappy creatures, so they received replacement tails of Styrofoam packing pellets for their 2017 debut.

Snider noted that even Mother Nature needs a tweak of improvement now and then.
