STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q. In what grade are you?

A. I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is sports and entertainment marketing because it has to do with what I want to pursue in college and afterwards, and I have always loved everything that had to do with sports. Learning about other aspects surrounding athletics is interesting.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. For golf I am District 11 Girls Champ: 2014, 2015, 2016, District 11 Team Champ: 2013, 2014, 2015, All-Conference, Conference MVP and All-State. In school, I have been on honor roll for four years and am a member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A. I play a lot of golf, work at a golf course, volunteer and participate in National Honor Society

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. After high school, I will be playing golf and pursuing a degree in sports management at Wingate University. I hope to be able to continue with a career somewhere in the area of golf.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My biggest challenge would be balancing school with sports. I have spent much of my time playing different sports my whole life, but I have to work a lot on keeping up with school.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered for working hard at everything I do and always trying to be the best person I can be.

Q. Who is in your family?

A. I split time living with my mom Donna and my dad Joe, stepmom Renee, and her grandma Yvonne.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire my parents because they have always worked hard at work, but did anything they could to be the best parents to me. They have raised me into the person I have become today.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. With hard work and dedication, you can become successful at whatever you want.
