Katherine and Teribio Cuono of West Bangor, Washington Township, Northampton County, celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary Dec. 26, 2016, with their family.

Mrs. Cuono is the daughter of the late Giuseppe (Joseph) Sr. and Maria Giuseppa (Carrescia) Cerino, who lived in Bangor. She retired from the garment industry in 1988.

Mr. Cuono is the son of the late John Sr. and Madalena (Nicoletti) Cuono, who lived in West Bangor. He retired in 1987 after 36 years in the garment industry. He served in the 5th Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

The couple was married Dec. 26, 1948, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Roseto, by the late Rev. Joseph Ducci.

They were longtime members of St. Roch’s Catholic Church, West Bangor. They are members of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Pen Argyl.

They have three daughters: Priscilla, wife of Leon deLeon of Lower Saucon Township; Briedella, wife of Dennis Fehr of Pen Argyl; and Lori, wife of Edward Imparato of Cheyney, Chester and Delaware counties.

They have four grandchildren: Myra Fehr; Krista, wife of Jason Evans; Tresa Imparato; and Edward Imparato Jr.; and six great-grandchildren: Brian, William, Katherine, James, Ella and Madelynn Evans.
