The public is invited! The annual Lynn-Heidelberg Historical Society banquet will take place April 26 at the Lynnport Fire Company, 7164 Behler Road, New Tripoli.
Come and meet Teddy Roosevelt, an American in the Arena, portrayed by impersonator Peyton Dixon. Banquet starts at 5:30 p.m. with social and appetizers.
Opening remarks at 6:15 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m., and Teddy Roosevelt presentation 7 p.m.
Tickets include dinner and dessert. Seating is limited.

Hip hop hooray! Heidelberg Union Church, 5187 Irvin Road, Heidelberg Township, is having an Easter Egg Hunt, rain or shine, April 15.
Children through sixth grade and the “young at heart” are invited to attend.
Register at 9:30 a.m. then, bring your basket and meet in fellowship hall at 10 a.m.
Have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny for a small donation and take it home with you right away.
In addition to a bake sale, there will be lots of fun, prizes and refreshments for all to enjoy.

Fun and faith! On April 24, Heidelberg Church’s Women of Faith group will meet 6 p.m. in fellowship hall.
Ladies of all ages are welcome.
This great group of women will hold a very informative meeting by welcoming guest speaker Cindy Varner, licensed massage therapist, who will speak on essential oils for better health.
In addition to a friend or two, bring along a notebook and pen.

Pies may be picked up 1-4 p.m. April 29 at the Schnecksville Grange, Route 863, Schnecksville.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit various community service projects.
