Two actors forced entry into Zionsville Antique Mall, Upper Milford Township, 3:27 a.m. March 21 through the front glass door using an axe. The actors removed an unknown amount of jewelry, silver coins and antique silverware. The actors utilized totes to carry the items out of the business. The actors are believed to have fled southbound on State Route 29. Anyone with information about this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.
Reported by Mobile Loan Specialist, 5555 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, payment was made to an unnamed contractor for air conditioning installations and repairs for two mobile home residences owned by the company. The contractor cashed three checks for the amounts of $1,996, $190 and $70, for a total of $2,255, May 10, 2016 and failed to do the installation and repair work, The investigation continues.
A Reading driver escaped injury after his sport utility vehicle struck a tree and rolled onto its side in a yard in the 3700 block of Chestnut Street near Allen Street, Upper Milford Township, 1:10 p.m. March 1. According to police, Kamaljeet Singh, 56, was heading northeast on Chestnut Street when he allegedly attempted to swerve to avoid a stopped vehicle. Singh’s vehicle left the roadway, traveled through the lawn, across the driveway and struck a tree before tumbling onto its side. Vera Cruz Fire and Rescue, Mechanic’s Plus Tow Services and Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville responded to the accident.

Reported by a resident of Catalpa Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors fraudulently filed the resident’s tax returns Feb. 8. The investigation continues.

Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville are investigating a hit and run collision in the 4700 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, overnight March 11. According to police, a Nissan Titan pickup truck was traveling north on Limeport Pike near Spring Drive when it left the roadway nearly striking a utility pole and causing extensive damage to a pasture fence. The vehicle fled north on Limeport Pike. Multiple vehicle parts belonging to a Nissan Titan pickup truck were recovered from the scene. The vehicle is missing an entire headlight assembly and should have extensive front end damage. The truck may be white, according to investigators. Helen Rivera, 21, of Emmaus, was charged with harassment after she allegedly struck and punched two people at a group home in the 3000 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 4:39 p.m. March 6.
