The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, will stage its annual bazaar with theme baskets 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 1 in the social hall, 2375 Levans Road, Ormrod.

The event features lunch, baked goods, attic treasures, theme baskets and door prizes.

Come to eat and socialize while helping to support the valuable services provided by the ambulance corps to the community.

The theme basket drawing will take place 2 p.m. and the drawing for raffle ticket prizes will be at 3 p.m.

NOVA volunteers will be busy baking paska, an authentic Easter bread, available in 1- or 2-pound loaves, with or without raisins.

Order by April 7 for pickup on Good Friday, April 14.

Schnecksville Fire Company volunteers will be cooking an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast 8 a.m.-1 p.m. March 26.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station will have time for fellowship, food and fun at the annual birthday bash 11:30 a.m. April 2.

Tables will be decorated for the months of the year, with special favors to take home as remembrances.

All are welcome to come, celebrate and make new friends. Bring a favorite dish to share.

St. John’s will join UCC churches throughout the denomination in a special mission offering March 26 for One Great Hour of Sharing.

The UCC works with international partners to provide sources of clean water, food, education, health care, emergency relief, and small business credit for people in 138 countries.

The denomination also helps with resettlement of refugees and displaced persons and supports ministries involved in disaster preparedness and response.

Agape New Testament Fellowship, 5229 Route 873, Schnecksville, will show the movie, “The Grace Card,” at 7 p.m. March 29.

The movie tells the story of Police Officer Mac McDonald who loses his son in an accident and years of bitterness and pain erode his love for his family and leaves him angry with God.
