Emily Yenser has been named February Girl of the Month by the Woman’s Club of Whitehall.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Yenser of Whitehall, she is a senior at Whitehall High School.

She has earned honor roll or high school roll all marking periods.

Yenser is a member of Leo Club, Outdoors Club, Zephyr Nation, Key Club, SERVE Club, Art Club, Model UN, Human Rights Club, Spanish Club, SADD and the girls soccer and tennis (captain) teams.

She also is a member of National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish National Honor Society and English National Honor Society.

Yenser is a volunteer for Vacation Bible School, Northampton and Catasauqua food banks, a men’s shelter in Allentown, a women’s shelter in Bethlehem, Special Olympics, Relay for Life, Miracle League and Good Shepherd.

She has organized Baker Center bingo night and Camelot for Kids parties, baked dog treats for Peaceable Kingdom and made coloring booklets for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Yenser plans to attend college, majoring in pharmacy.
