The Forensic Science Student Organization at Cedar Crest College will hold the 15th annual forensic science symposium 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 25.
Mud Club needs the help of all its members to prepare for the Empty Bowls Event March 25. The club needs bowl makers, decorators and glazers on hand at all meetings. Meetings are held 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays in Room 520.
The EHS senior class is sponsoring a KNOCKERBALL tournament. Knockerball is soccer in a bubble. The tournament is noon to 1:30 p.m. April 1 at the Game Time Fieldhouse. There is an entry fee per person and teams must have five people. Registration deadline is March 22.
Emmaus High School’s purse bingo will be held April 1 to benefit the annual Afterball event. This is the main fundraiser for the Afterball. Discounted tickets are available in advance. Tickets at the door will cost more. The price includes 15 games. Additional specials will be available at a cost. Food will be available for purchase before and during the event. Emmaus High School artists entered 76 pieces into the Regional Scholastic Art Awards competition. This is a highly competitive show and numerous young artists from many regional high schools enter the competition. Of the 76 pieces EHS student artists entered, 53 received awards. Twenty-six pieces of artwork received honorable mention awards; 15 received Silver Key Awards, 11 received Gold Key Awards and one received a nomination for the American Visions Award. The Gold Key Award winners will advance to the national competition.
