LOWHILL TOWNSHIP

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is hosting an all-you-can-eat pork and sauerkraut dinner 4-7 p.m. March 25.

Meal includes homemade mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, cottage cheese, apple butter, rolls and homemade desserts.

There will also be hot dogs available for those who do not want pork and sauerkraut.

Advance tickets will be available before and after worship services.

There will also be a 50/50 drawing.

The church is having a basket social 6-8 p.m. April 7 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 8.

Drawing will be at 2 p.m. Ticket-holders do not need to be present to win.

There will be special raffles and a 50/50.

Donate a basket by April 2 and be entered into a special raffle.

Bring a canned item for the food bank or The Sanctuary of Haafsville and receive a free raffle ticket.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Volunteers are needed to help organize, pick up donations and help at the basket social.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, is hosting a penny party April 28.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Game starts a 7 p.m.

The event will feature a 50/50 drawing and food will be available.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, is hosting a Corks and Canvas Paint an African Penguin 6-8 p.m. March 30.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Canvas and all art supplies included in the nonrefundable cost per person.

Enjoy a night out at the Zoo, sipping wine while creating your own masterpiece.

All participants will receive a photo of one of the Zoo’s African Penguins, a fun fact sheet and one free zoo pass.

Bring wine and snacks.
