District news: Picture day for Lehigh is March 24

Lehigh Elementary School fifth-grade students will have a panoramic picture day March 24. Students will have the opportunity to purchase photos.

Moore Elementary School is hosting a spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. March 25 at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, Bath.

Tickets are available at the school or at the door the day of the event.

Proceeds benefit a class trip for fifth-grade students.

The end of third marking period will be March 27. Be sure to discuss any issues or concerns with your child and your child’s teacher.

From 6-8 p.m. March 28, Northampton Area School District will be hosting its first annual district safety night at the high school. The event will feature presentations by district and local agencies on various topics related to student safety.

Admission is free.

Kindergarten registration assessment begins March 29. Visit the district’s website, nasdschools.org, to begin the process.

Mark your calendar for the high school’s upcoming spring musical “Anything Goes.” It will be performed 7 p.m. March 30, 31 and April 1 and 2 p.m. April 2.

High school students are reminded to follow the yearbook Twitter page, @KKidsYearbook, for sneak previews, special announcements, due dates and more. Important dates and information for seniors will be posted.

Commemorative brick pavers that will be placed within the new memorial plaza outside the entrance of Al Erdosy Stadium and the entrance to the new district swimming pool are still available for purchase. This memorial plaza will be the center of the secondary campus.

This Buy a Brick fundraiser is sponsored by Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation, and all proceeds will be used to supplement and enhance Northampton Area School District K-12 education programs.
