Crafters’ works on display at Lynnport Fire Co. show

Ashley Potthoff, vice president of the Lynnport Fire Company, said the March 12 spring craft show was the first in a number of years.

The show had been in planning for a couple of months.

Crafters quickly filled the firehall with only two tables free for people to sit down and eat fire company lunch.

Potthoff said there was a nice variety of items and everything had to be homecrafted.

Word-of-mouth and an ad in the Northwestern Press helped draw vendors and visitors to the event.

All the Chinese auction prizes were donated by the vendors.

“We appreciate the support,” Potthoff said.

The fire company’s next fundraiser is a filling and bacon dressing sale with orders to be taken by April 7.

Tea for Two birds can eat from the teacup bird feeder held by Kristy Reis and made by Ashley Potthoff.
