According to Pennsylvania State Police, at approximately 8:35 a.m. March 7, a handwritten note was found in a bathroom at Brandywine Heights High School, 103 Old Topton Road, Longswamp Township, Berks County. The note indicated a bomb was going to go off at a specific time in the school. A juvenile male student was identified and admitted to writing the note. He will be charged through the juvenile court system with terroristic threats and causing or risking catastrophe, both felonies, according to a media release from Pennsylvania State Police.

Ronnie Keith Banks, 31, of Alburtis, allegedly attempted to remove two 32 gigabyte flash drives without paying for them from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Feb, 15. Charges were filed, according to court documents.

Reported by a resident in the 7600 block of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed items from a vehicle parked in the driveway overnight Feb. 20.

Reported by a resident in the 4500 block of Apple Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors attempted to open a credit card in the complainant’s name 5:46 p.m. Feb. 5. The transaction was denied.

Reported by a resident in the 7200 block of Myrtle Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors opened a Sprint account using the resident’s address in August 2016. The actors then let the account become delinquent and the resident received a collection notice in the mail for unpaid charges totaling $4,024.77. The account was opened in a different name using the resident’s address.

Reported by a resident in the 2000 block of Wisteria Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors used the resident’s personal information to open a Sprint cellphone account between Dec. 15, 2015 and April 4, 2016. Reported by a resident in the 5000 block of Sandtrap Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors used the resident’s personal information to open a bank account and withdraw money from the resident’s personal bank account Feb. 14. Anyone with information about this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported at Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, an unknown male and two unknown females entered the store around 3 p.m. Feb. 10. The man bought a soda and then confused the cashier into breaking a large bill. The cashier had approximately $219 out near the register. The male took the cash and fled the store. One of the women tried the same scam but was unsuccessful. The second woman succeeded in confusing another cashier and stole approximately $199. All three actors fled the scene in a silver minivan.

The man is described as a white male wearing a dark hat and coat and a gray shirt. One of the women is described as white with dark hair and wearing a checkered scarf around her head and a purple coat. The other woman is described as white and wearing a dark scarf around her head, a gray jacket and a dark dress. Reported by a resident in the 4000 block of Kings Highway North, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors deceived the resident into sending $7,000 Jan. 19.

A small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found in Church Lane Park, Lower Macungie Township, 12:30 p.m. Feb. 18. The investigation continues.
