Senior Center

Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W Elm St., Allentown, will be hosting the following programs for seniors in March.

The following disc jockeys will be playing oldies and requests at the Saturday dances, so come out and enjoy the music with friends.

· March 18: DJ Bobby Koch; and

· March 25: DJ Jose

Saturday dances will be 7:30-10:30 p.m. in the Trexler Room.

The per person fee includes light refreshments. Singles and couples welcome.

Good Vibrations” Chorus is beginning a new season with a new director.

The group will meet 9:30 – 11 a.m. March 20 and 27.

All singers are welcome.

The senior center will present the movie “Queen of Katwe” at 12:15 p.m. March 22.

This movie is the story of 10-year-old Phiona and her family who live in the slum of Katwe in Kampala, Uganda.

Her world changes one day when she meets, a missionary who teaches children how to play chess.

Phiona becomes fascinated with the game and soon becomes a top player under Katende’s guidance.
