The Lutheran Home at Topton’s monthly bereavement forum will host a free program on “What I Miss Most: Learning to Do for Myself,” 6:30 p.m. The Diakon senior living community, 1 South Home Ave., Topton, hosts the bereavement forum each month in Deibert Hall on the first floor of the skilled nursing care center on the Topton campus. Facilitated by the Rev. Dr. Colleen G. Kristula, chaplain, the forums are sponsored by Ludwick Funeral Homes of Topton and Kutztown. People who wish to participate should RSVP to 610-682-1334. Lehigh Valley Beekeepers Association meeting 7 p.m. in Room 130 A-D, Alumni Hall of Northampton Community College, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem. The speaker will be Mark Antunes who maintains about 100 colonies scattered in various locations in Bucks, Montgomery and Chester counties. Emmaus Historical Society meeting 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5th and Chestnut St., Emmaus. There will be a presentation on the “Schwar Genealogy Library.” The Emmaus Historical Society is thrilled to house the Schwar Genealogy Library. Member Lynette Fink will talk about the history of the library, the types of materials the library contains and show examples of how the library’s resources can be used to find out about your own ancestors. The quarterly meeting of the Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society will be held 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township Building, 5671 Chestnut St., Old Zionsville. After a short business meeting, Mark McKenzie will present a discussion and demonstration of Internet-based genealogy research.
