March 11

The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, will host its annual spring bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Crafts, white elephant, Chinese auction, bake sale and food will be available.

Emmaus Lions Club will host its annual Nite at the Races and Basket Raffle at Alburtis Area Community Center, 220 W. Second St., Alburtis. For one price, you can gain entry to a night of fun, food, drinks and door prizes. BYOB. Test your luck as you try to predict the winner of actual past horse races. Menu includes hot roast beef, meatballs, sausage sandwiches, broasted chicken, macaroni and potato salads, ring bologna, baked beans, cheese, veggie and fruit trays, desserts, soda, beer, wine and coffee, among other items. Doors open 5 p.m and the first race runs 6:30 p.m. Snow date is 1 p.m. March 12. Tickets are available at Buss Paints in Emmaus, Alburtis Area Community Center or call Lion Henry at 610-966-5220. Seating is limited.

March 15

Alburtis Area 55+ seniors meet noon at Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, #1, Alburtis. Seniors will enjoy a pot luck luncheon plus bingo. Many bus trips are scheduled. For more information, call 610-966-4996.
