Music club

The Allentown Music Club announces on March 4, the club will hold auditions for the Dr. Albert Hofammann Scholarship for young pianists.

Serious piano students from grades nine through 12 who are enrolled in a schools in Lehigh and Northampton counties are eligible.

The winner is required to perform their pieces for the club at their meeting on April 2.

The Past Presidents Assembly will hold auditions for their memorial scholarship on April 3.

Lehigh and Northampton county high school seniors, who will be studying music performance next year at a college, university, or conservatory are eligible.

The winner is required to perform their pieces for the club on May 7.

The prize for both of these scholarships is $1,000.
