The Saucon Valley High School Theatre department declares the PG-13-rated “Nice Work If You Can Get It” will be “full of dance and powerful voices.”
Produced and directed by Chad Miller, the show is at 7 p.m. March 2, 3, 4 and 2 p.m. March 5, Saucon Valley High School, 2100 Polk Valley Road, Hellertown.
Also involved with the production are assistant director-choreographer Kimberly Tassinaro, choreographer Joey Schubert, technical director Patrick Mertz, and pit director Herb Payung.
“Nice Work If You Can Get It” features songs by George and Ira Gershwin, with a book by Joe DiPietro based on material by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse.
Musical numbers include “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” “Demon Rum,” “’S Wonderful,“ and “Someone to Watch Over Me.” The 2012 Broadway production received 10 Tony Award nominations, winning two.
