Northwestern Lehigh High School presents “Legally Blonde the Musical” with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach. It’s based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name.

Directed by Bill Mutimer, co-chair of the Northampton Community College theater department, the show is at 7 p.m. March 2, 3, 4 and 2 p.m. March 5, auditorium, Northwestern Lehigh High School, 6493 Route 309, New Tripoli, Lynn Township.

Mutimer also choreographs, assisted by Tina Williams. Sheri Melcher is musical director and D. Larry Bachtell is the “virtual orchestra.”

Featured songs include “Omigod You Guys,” “Bend and Snap, “Whipped into Shape,” “Blood In The Water” and “Serious.” The 2007 Broadway show received seven Tony Award nominations.
