YWCA Bethlehem has announced the official donation drop-off locations for its 10th Annual Prom Dress Day Event scheduled March 25 at the State Theater in Easton. Community members are invited to donate gently used prom dresses, purses, shoes and jewelry to benefit high school girls.
YWCA’s Prom Dress Day provides local junior and senior girls with a unique shopping experience to purchase a gently used prom dress and accessories at a nominal cost.
A wide selection of styles and sizes are needed, including plus sizes.
YWCA Bethlehem anticipates helping 200 Lehigh Valley teens find their “perfect dress” this year.
Donations may be dropped off at the following “Dress Drive” locations through March 3:
•Charles Chrin Community Center: 4100 Green Pond Road, Easton (Palmer Township), 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
•Firth Youth Center: 108 Anderson St., Phillipsburg, N.J., 3 to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
•Hanover Township Community Center: 3660 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
•The Perfect Fit (operated by YWCA Allentown): 1101 W. Hamilton Center, 3rd floor, Allentown, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
•YWCA Bethlehem: 3893 Adler Place, Building B, Suite 180, Bethlehem (off of Highland Avenue), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Dresses and other donation items should be in “prom worthy” condition, with no noticeable stains or tears and preferably less than five years old.
