A vehicle was struck while parked in the lot at Weis Markets, 1220 Chestnut St., Feb. 13.
Stephen Seip, 34, of Emmaus, was arrested and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence, careless driving and texting while driving in the 100 block of North Fifth Street, after allegedly driving his vehicle into two parked vehicles Jan. 30. Seip was processed at the Lehigh County DUI Center and released. Charges were filed, according to court documents.
Jennifer Ann Koller, 41, of Emmaus, was arrested and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence in the 500 block of State Avenue Feb. 2. Koller was processed at Lehigh County DUI Center and released. Charges were filed, according to court documents.
Residents reported thefts from vehicles overnight Feb. 6 in several locations including the residential areas of the 700 blocks of Donald Drive and Spruce Street; the 900 block of Franklin Street and the 1000 block of Harris Drive. All of the thefts involved unlocked vehicles. One resident reported the loss of a cellphone, cash and a computer tablet. Another resident reported the loss of a pair of boots. Other losses included loose change. The Emmaus Police Department would like to remind everyone to remove their valuables from their vehicles and to lock their vehicle doors.
A resident in the 200 block of North Sixth Street reported damage to a 2002 Ford truck parked to the rear of the home Feb. 4. Additional damage was reported to the same vehicle Feb. 8.
