Nominations for the 89th Academy awards have been announced.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present the Academy Awards for 2016 outstanding film achievements, 8 p.m. (EST) Feb. 26, Dolby Theatre, Hollywood and Highland Center, Los Angeles. The ceremony is televised live on the ABC television network.

The person who chooses the most correct number of Oscar recipients receives a $50 Penn’s Peak gift card; tickets to movies at the Roxy Theatre, Northampton, a Lehigh Valley Press prize package, and may have his or her photo published in the Focus section of the eight Lehigh Valley Press newspapers and online.
